Current Volunteer Opportunities:

Donation Pick-Up Volunteer:

• Location(s): Vancouver (Kitsilano, Olympic Village)

• Time Commitment: approx 1 hour per week (depending on traffic)

• Details: We are looking for a volunteer that can help pick up donations from our donation bin at Bosleys on Broadway and bring them to our storage in Olympic Village on a weekly basis. Time time is flexible, in coordination with our storage volunteer, however; this is generally easiest to do during the am hours on weekdays when the store is less busy.

Driving Volunteer (on call):

• Location(s): Vancouver, Metro Vancouver, & throughout BC

• Time Commitment: needs based when you are available

• Details: If you have access to your own vehicle we have ongoing needs to pick up and transport supplies and rescues both locally in Vancouver and throughout BC. Often these asks come last minute and we would love to have more drivers on our roster to reach out to when the needs arrive! We are especially looking to add drivers that have some weekday availability.

  We currently have a need for those driving Hwy 1 East from Vancouver and can drop off food and supplies in Cache Creek, Boston Bar or Spences Bridge.

Event Volunteer (on call):

• Location(s): Metro Vancouver

• Time Commitment: 1-4 hours

• Details: Join us at an event! We attend a number of markets and host adoption events at local Pet Food stores and can always use the help! No experience necessary. Help needs range from transporting supplies to the events, set up/take down, answering questions, selling swag etc.
