Ways to Give
Cash Donations
Your donation to Straight Outta Rescue Society directly supports our 100% volunteer-run rescue dedicated to helping animals in rural BC, where resources are often limited and the need is great. Every dollar goes toward rescuing at-risk animals, providing urgent medical care, and funding vital trap-neuter-return (TNR) efforts to reduce suffering and overpopulation.
Online donations can be made one-time or monthly and are eligible for tax receipts.

Pet Food & Supplies
We greatly appreciate donations of pet food and supplies! Due to limited space, we ask that you contact us to coordinate larger donations.
Our drop-off location is in the Kitsilano Area or can be left in our donation bin at Bosley’s on Broadway (3045 West Broadway) if not too large.
Top Wishlist Items: cat and kitten dry and wet food (grain-free) and cat litter, dog and puppy wet food and tough toys like Kongs.
Donate Bottle Returns
Drop off your empty bottle returns in a clear bag at any Fast Drop or Return-It Express Depot.
Fast Drop: Provide our number 123-FOR-CATS (123-367-2287) to the staff at the FastDrop counter. Please ensure not to include any other non-returnable items (no cardboard or other plastic please!)
Return-It Express Depot: Set-up or login to your Return-It Account using our link to set Straight Outta Rescue Society as your designated charity! Receive a tax receipt for donations made throughout the year if your total donations are over $10 (Return-It Only)
Donate Gift Cards
Tax receipts can be issued for the value of the gifted card at the time that we use the card (not when the card is donated).
Pet Stores, Canadian Tire / Home Improvement Stores, Dollarama, Amazon are some useful options!

Shop from our Amazon Wishlists and your donations will arrive right at our door. Please contact us if Amazon does not populate our delivery address.
